After a short ride from Civitavecchia Port we arrive to the ancient town of Tarquinia, native land of the last three Kings of Rome; we find out the Palazzo Vitelleschi, site of an important Etruscan Museum housing the famous Winged Horse. Strolling through the medieval little town, you can admire the breathtaking view of the Etruscan valley with its famous painted tombs among the most known in the world.
After visiting Tarquinia, we move to Tuscania, the major Etruscan centre with one of the finest Etruscan museum and the rocky Colle San Pietro where you can admire the Lombard-Romanesque churches of San Pietro and Santa Maria Maggiore with medieval fresco painted walls.
During the day we will have the opportunity to have lunch in a typical restaurant otherwise Olive oil and Wine tasting can be done in Valle del Marta area.
